What this policy covers
This policy explains what information is handled when you visit this website or contact us through it, and the choices you have. We aim to follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and other data protection laws that apply to us.
Information we collect
This website has no sign-up, account or payment features. The enquiry form on the contact page does not send or store anything: it only prepares a message that opens in your own WhatsApp or email app, and nothing reaches us unless you send it from there. We only receive personal information when you choose to contact us, for example by email, phone or WhatsApp. In that case we receive the details you send, such as your name, phone number or email address, and the content of your message.
How we use it
We use the information you send us only to read and reply to your enquiry, including bookings, features and collaboration requests, and to keep a record of our correspondence. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Cookies and browser storage
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website. The site stores a small note in your browser’s session storage so that the opening animation plays once per visit and page transitions play correctly. This is deleted when you close the tab and contains no personal information.
Third-party services
Some features rely on other companies, which have their own privacy policies. Videos are played through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) only when you press play. Music links take you to Apple Music. The WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp. When you use these, the provider may receive technical information such as your IP address. The website is hosted by Vercel, which processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the site and keep it secure. Fonts and all other parts of the site are served from our own website, not from third-party networks.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiries and correspondence only for as long as we need them to respond, manage the relationship that follows, or meet legal obligations, and then delete them.
Your rights
You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you may object to how we use it. To make a request, email Bowagateentertainment@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive personal information by email or messaging.
Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
